Faculty Observation, Fall 2013

<– Back to Artifacts of Teaching

Context: As part of the CoAT program, my faculty mentor observed one lecture session during the second half of the fall 2013 semester. My mentor was provided with the evaluation forms accessible through the CoAT website.

Reflection: Seeking feedback from more experienced instructors demonstrates a teacher’s desire to learn and improve her abilities in and out of the classroom. Instructors of all levels should always be open to receiving feedback, be it from students or other instructors. Being able to adapt and change will help each course evolve into a better version each time it is taught.
