Abs for runners

I've been trying to work on my core and overall strength this year as an attempt to stabalize and to minimize shock to my knees when I do start running again.  There are a couple of great workouts I've torn out from Runner's World, Fitness RX for Women, Self, and Women's Running that I've been using recently, but I wanted to come up with a list of my favorite exercises that work on your core but may also help your knees.

  • Superman
  • Bridge
  • Metronome
  • Side Plank
  • Plank
  • Hamstring lifts on ball
