OK…swimming … makes me … want to … jump off a bridge. Except then I would have to swim or I'd die … there's some flawed logic here.
Anyway, I made myself do intervals in the pool today, a workout which any real swimmer would probably laugh at.
250 yard warm up, then my sad, sad, intervals that made my brain feel like it was going to explode…
10 intervals of the following:
- 100 yard freestyle @ 1:20
- 50 yard backstroke @ 1:30
In total I did about a mile and it kicked my butt!
