Fall in Florida

November is one of the best months in Florida – there is usually no rain, hurricane season is almost over, and the skies are normally crystal clear.  On the flip side, Floridians like me sometimes feel the need to go into hibernation due to the fact that our systems are jolted by the shock of the suddenly frigid (read: 60 degree) weather.

So, I'll use the weather as an excuse for my sloth.  After donning pants and a sweatshirt (and socks and shoes – a true sign that it's too cold!) I walked three miles on the beach, then retreated inside to my stationary recumbant bike for 45 minutes.  Kind of pathetic, but it's something.
